Whatever your goal, you may need tips, reminders, advice that can help achieve it. By knowing what to do and what to avoid, it is really very easy to teach your child safety by using a Halloween Toy Story  costume character.. This article presents 3 important suggestions that can help. Following these tips and you should have much better prepared child, if a dangerous situation occurs. When your child suddenly finds himself or herself in a dangerous situation, it's important that he or she does things not only quickly but correctly. If not, the outcomes could possibly be regrettable. The child might find herself or himself  kidnapped, injured or in some other way harmed. Below are three excellent suggestions to teach safety in an unthreatening way.

1. Use the Toy Story costume character your child wants and ask what would Jessie or Woody do if a stranger offered a ride in a vehicle?  You will need to do this in a matter of fact or imaginative way to be nonfrightening the child, but gets him or her to think about dealing with such a situation in a manner that does not actually involve him or her, but a favored character that he or she is protecting. However, indirectly it prepares the child for such a situation should it ever present itself. Failing to teach this could leave the child panicked and unable to deal with such a situation if it really happened. Therefore take care to do that the right way and don't make the mistake of overlooking this important lesson!  In this way you use the character not only for Halloween fun, but also to teach or reinforce an important safety consideration.

2. About as essential as teaching what to do if a stranger offers a ride is a more common problem of helping you child deal with a situation when another child says something mean to him or her. At some time just about every child faces this problem.  Again use the toy story costume character and ask what would Jessie or Woody do if a someone said something mean. When handling this let the child suggest specific examples and solutions. This is an opportunity not to overlook and to make a Toy Story or other halloween costume character go beyond the evening event.  It helps to use opportunities like this to teach important safety concepts in a nonthreatening way.  It is a method that those engaged in parenting should take advantage of.

3. Finally, when you feel your youngster understands how to deal with one or both of the above situations ask him or her to draw a picture or series of pictures showing the character and what it would do in a given situation.  After creating the drawing or drawings let the child explain what is happening in the picture.  Again, you should be sure and do this in a way that is not frightening. It is important to be sure the character does the thing you would want your child to do in the same situation. This can help with teaching how to avoid strangers, which is a very important element of child safety. Should you not, you could possibly leave your child unprepared to deal with a serious situation -- and I'm sure we are able to agree this would not be a good thing!

As previously mentioned, when it comes to helping a child deal with potential danger, you want to ensure you don't make errors which wind up with a kidnapped, injured , or even harmed or in some other way. What you want is to keep a child safe and teach how to deal with a dangerous situation without frightening him or her, and you will achieve that by using the guidelines in this article.
